ID SYSTEMS HONORS MOTEK'S CUSTOMER SUPER STORE INDUSTRIES
ID Systems Magazine identifies Motek customer as a Supply Chain Innovator

Beverly Hills, CA (October 2, 2000) Motek® customer Super Store Industries (SSI), was among the 7 honorable mentions announced today by ID Systems in their First annual Supply Chain Innovator User awards. Voted on by the editors of ID Systems, the award recognizes companies that have utilized supply chain management software and hardware to improve customer service, increase visibility, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.

ID Systems evaluated the supply chain operations of 50 companies in depth focusing on benefits achieved such as increased productivity reduced lead times, decreased back logs, and other efficiencies. In the end ID Systems chose 3 winners and 7 honorable mentions and recognized both the companies and their vendors for standing apart from the rest.

SSI picks over one million cases per week in addition to Each Picks, averaging 148,000 picks per day on 107,000 order lines, with 12,500 SKUs, in a 7x24 environment. Voice recognition systems frees order selectors from handheld data collection devices; boosting productivity 25%. During peak hours, up to 200 concurrent users are served with one-second response times.
