As a warehouse manager Carlos works closely with his warehouse team to generate continuous improvement. Carlos automated a distribution center that serviced 65 supermarkets a day enabling them to stock more goods in less time and utilize space more efficiently. He delivered real-time knowledge of where everything is, how it got there, who put it there and how long it took making every bit of his operation visible at all times. As a result, his warehouse was better able to keep fast-moving items in stock and he reduced warehouse operating costs. These performance improvements, allowed the company to cancel plans to purchase a new warehouse.

Carlos and his team's cost reduction and efficiency have been recognized in industry publications as well as in the Los Angeles Times.

Following implementation, Carlos was hired by a publicly held paper distributor where he implemented the same system with similar results.
